I for one am very glad to see that someone has the good sense to put the brakes on driver-less vehicles. As the jobs for the less educated are eliminated, welfare and crime costs increase. Self-driving cars are followed by self driving trucks, soon self driving taxis, buses, trucks, etc. New Jersey saw this trend coming years ago and passed a law making it illegal to pump your own gasoline. When I am in NJ, I get my windshield cleaned, and if I want it oil and tires checked -- and wonder of wonders gasoline is cheaper than in any of the surrounding states. If this was the law of the land in the USA unemployment would drop and welfare costs would decrease.
